Melody In The Meadow
For the first time, Barton-Le-Clay played host to a live open air concert in August 2009, featuring 5 Star Swing and Edison Lighthouse performing to a 2000-strong crowd. Providing power generation and main stage PA system, EnterTec were privileged to be involved with this new event, and discussions are already underway on how to improve and expand for 2010. All About The Music - MoreLondon Festival for the 4th year running
Once again EnterTec, working with The Allstars Collective, have rocked out the Friday evening events at the ‘MoreLondon Free Music Festival @ The Scoop 2009’. EAW 850 stacks complimented with JFX200 fills provide the perfect combo to cover the dance floor while keeping everyone on the steps and surrounding walkways involved, but minimizing noise pollution further along the riverside. No easy task with a 13piece band, this year featuring special guests such as Angelo Starr and Jim Mullen!
Heart Radio Dunstable’s carnival float heard county-wide
Visitors attending the Luton carnival had no problem hearing the Heart Radio float this year, following the implementation of a four stack HK Audio ACTOR series system. Audio coverage was comfortable and extensive, whilst not interfering with any neighbouring floats. EnterTec also supplied the float’s generator and mains distribution.

Berkhamsted School benefit from a £20k complete sound system re-fit
The Centenery Theatre at Berkhamsted School is a regular hot spot for charity events and band performances, not to mention the extensive school activities. EnterTec won the tender to supply and fit £20k’s worth of new equipment, and in February 2009 a HK IL series system supported by a rock solid infrastructure was introduced to meet the challenge. Says Theatre Technician Guy Lewis: “We’ve had constant compliments since installation about the improved quality and coverage of the sound, not to mention the flexibility of the facilities for outside users.”
EnterTec’s EAW system for UKCCA’s first ministerial visit
When the in-house facilities were not quite complete with only a week before their first ministerial visit, UKCCA technicians turned to EnterTec for support. One phone call and an EAW system later, the problem was solved. Centre Technician Simon Mitchell was more than happy with the result: “We needed something capable of sound reproduction in a space where the shape of the room makes temporary system installation a bit awkward. EnterTec supplied the ideal main stage system with delays, monitors, control and outboard equipment, all within our budget, and with only a rough room drawing to calculate what was required!”
Ashlyns School production of We Will Rock You experiences sound quality that "rivals that of the west end production"
Not many school productions benefit from the technical expertise that Ashlyns was able to present for their sold-out 4 show run of We Will Rock You (presented with kind permission by
www.schoolswillrockyou.com) in March 2009. Aside from supplying a 40 head moving wash lighting rig, EnterTec put a 15 box EAW / EV sound system into the main hall – a notoriously awkward venue for acoustics. With Lab Gruppen amplifiers and a Yamaha LS9 in the engine room, Sennheiser radio microphones throughout, the 7 piece band all on in-ear feeds and an EnterTec engineer at the helm all week, audience attending the performances were astounded with the audio integrity. Show director Nickey Cripps commented: “The sound quality rivalled that of the west end production, of that there is no doubt.”
